Diving Itinerary
Journey through the northern and western waters of the Galapagos aboard the Galaxy Diver, exploring vibrant reefs, soaring pelagics, and rare endemic species in one of the world’s most pristine marine ecosystems.

Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Island
Upon your arrival at Baltra Airport, you’ll be greeted and escorted to the Galaxy Diver yacht. After an orientation and safety briefing, you’ll gear up for a check dive at Baltra Northeast. This initial dive is designed to help you get comfortable with your equipment and the diving conditions in Galapagos. The tranquil waters allow you to spot small reef inhabitants and colorful fish, offering a gentle introduction to the unique marine life that thrives here. This immersion ensures a smooth transition into the more challenging and spectacular dives to come.
Day 2 : Santa Cruz Island: Carrion Point & Wolf Island
Start the day with dives at Punta Carrion, a site known for excellent visibility and a wealth of marine life, including tropical fish, sea lions, and hammerhead sharks during certain months. After the morning adventures beneath the waves, the Galaxy Diver begins a long navigation towards Wolf Island. This stretch of the journey gives you time to reflect on your first experiences and prepare mentally for the thrilling dives at one of Galapagos’ most iconic underwater locations.
Day 3 : Wolf Island: Shark Bay / La Banana & La Ventana Islet / El Derrumbe
Day 4 : Darwin Island: El Arenal & The Darwin's Arch
Day 5 : Darwin Island: El Arenal & Wolf Island: El Derrumbe / Shark Bay
Day 6 : Fernandina Island: Douglas Cape & Isabela Island: Vicente Roca Point
Day 7 : Santiago Island: Cousin Rock & Santa Cruz Island: Highlands
Day 8 : Santa Cruz Island & Baltra Airport
